Statement
I practice my work as a painter with diligence, seriousness, and dedication, like any practice that requires time and devotion. I devote myself to it every day for several hours, whether it is for creation, research, or continuous training.
The central element of my explorations is variety. Whether it is in terms of texture, marking, or composition, I like to venture into uncharted paths and challenge my creative ideas. I define my art as an expression of everyday life scenes or characters.
I paint intuitively without a specific goal in mind. Abstract art allows me to unleash my imaginary universe. I paint multiple paintings at once. This process gives each of my works enough space to develop its own story. I enjoy exploring shapes, lines, colors, contrasts, and their effects when layered. I particularly appreciate large formats because they allow me to fully express myself without any constraints and to let go without holding back.
I use various tools, more than just brushes. wooden sticks, palette knives, pencils, and most often, my hands and fingers. I enjoy creating my colors from natural pigments. Peat, ashes from a wood fire, or rust that I grind into powder are just a few examples of the elements I use in my works.
My creations are greatly inspired by my personal experiences. I enjoy creating art that moves, resonates, brings people together, and conveys a message. I always suggest an image, an emotion, or a theme in my works.
